Purdue featured this playful Pete illustration on a basketball game program from 1973, one year after Purdue renamed their arena after Guy “Red” Mackey. Mackey Arena opened in 1967 as Purdue Arena as a new home for Boilermakers basketball to replace Lambert Fieldhouse. The arena’s shape and aluminum dome helps amplify the Paint Crew and other raucous fans, making Mackey one of the loudest arenas to play in. Products are mocked up on a size S. Graphics may appear smaller on larger sizes.
